Language Barrier? Not With Music!

When I first moved to Williams Lake B.C. Canada in 1993 from St. Gallen Switzerland  I knew things were going to change.  I got thrown into a class of grade ones without knowing a word of English.  I was 7yrs of age so technically suppose to be in grade 2 but held back due to the language barrier.   So many people tried communicating with my siblings and I but there was no way for us to understand besides the odd pointing of the finger and hand gestures.  Very frustrating!  We all went home to ask our father what to say to everyone. He replied "just say I don't understand you" .   So the next few days all we did was go around saying "I don't understand you" to everyone and anyone.   So many people go through this kind of conflict but in the end it's a huge experience not only for us but everyone around us.  We try so hard to communicate with each other and I have found over the years that one of the best ways really is music.   Music usually speaks a truth. We can all relate to music one way or another,  weather it's just to make you feel good or even compare to a life experience.  I want to share some of my music with you and see if it can relate to your life.   If you have a moment give it a listen @  www.krispinstuder.com   for a couple of free downloads.   Enjoy!
